We recommend our guided tour of Mazovia. It guides you through the picturesque plaines, along the Kampinos National Park up to Brochów parish church and Frederic Chopin s birthplace in Żelazowa Wola. The beauty of Mazovian landscapes is highly appreciated by photographers. Every Sunday, May through September, the tour lets you attend a traditional piano recital in Żelazowa Wola. Sunday recitals in Brochów are performed in July and August.

In the 19th century Żelazowa Wola was the property of the Skarbek family. Nicholas Chopin, Frederic's father, a Frenchman and recent participant in the Kosciuszko Uprising, worked for the Skarbeks as administrator. In 1806, he married Justyna Krzyżanowska, their cousin.
According to parish church books at nearby Brochów, Frederic Francois Chopin was born in Żelazowa Wola on February 22, 1810.
Due to Chopin's great creative output, the village of Żelazowa Wola has attracted the world's attention. At the beginning of the past century the manor house and gardens were restored.

- Visit to the fortified Gothic parish church in Brochów - 10 km from Żelazowa Wola, beautifully located by the Bzura River. Here, in 1806 Chopin's parents were married and in April 1810 Frederic was baptized.
- Visit to the Franciscan Monastery in Niepokalanów founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe.
